I set up a dual boot of Ubuntu with my previous OS Windows 7. But since Ubuntu installation whenever I choose Windows 7 from the OS selection menu I only get a blank screen.

I tried "recommended repairs" in the boot repair tool but it's still showing that blank screen whenever I choose Windows 7. I also tried the update-grub command from terminal but it's still the same. I installed Ubuntu on an unallocated space in my PC.

Here's my boot info summary

If above links do not work: May be best to see details, use ppa version with your live installer or any working install, not older Boot-Repair ISO: Please copy & paste link to the Boot-info summary report ( do not post report), the auto fix sometimes can create more issues. help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair Then we may be able to see what is wrong. – oldfred May 8 at 14:14
  • I tried the boot repair tool (which most people was recommending ) but it still didn't worked. I also tried update-grub but still no luck . I think I'll edit it with boot info summery link . – Tilak Bhattacharya May 9 at 5:43
