When I enter the command:

ls -i -l

An example of a singular line of the output to the terminal is:

262153 drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Jul 24 2018 apci

So my first question is, what is the meaning of the "drwxr-xr-x" part?

Secondly, what is the meaning of the other two numerical values listed the first being the index number of the file? (3 & 4096 in the example)

And thirdly, there are two columns that indicate user permissions, as in the example, in both entries "root" is listed, but sometimes this can be "shadow" or "dip", so what is this in reference to?
