How to scale display in Lubuntu up 150% or 200%? So that text, icons, buttons are bigger, similar to osx (similar in size, not looks obviously) enter image description here

In Lubuntu 18.04 and newer:

  1. In the Lubuntu menu (what appears when you press the Windows key), search "KDE System Settings."
  2. Scroll down to the "Hardware" section, near the bottom, and select "Displays and Monitor."
  3. Here, there's an option to scale your display, near the bottom of the panel on the right.

You can also adjust the size of the fonts and icons individually, at the top of the same menu you found "Displays and Monitor" in.see screenshot below
