Hi I have installed Xubuntu on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo pro v3505 with those specs:

https://www.cnet.com/products/fujitsu-amilo-pro-v3505-15-4-core-duo-t2050-win-xp-home-1-gb-ram-80-gb-hdd-series/

It's quite old. It works fine but it won't shut down. First I get a blank screen and then the Xubuntu logo running endlessly.

I tried to run Boot Repair and it says I should create a partition. Yet I have already deleted Windows when I installed Xubuntu.

I am trying to follow these instructions with a ubuntu live version but it takes ages to install the boot repair in the live session (step 2):

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootPartition

Thank you
