Could anyone of experts give a little help to me to get my WiFi connection stable and usable.

Found my old laptop (Acer Aspire 1810tz) and I was thinking of installing Ubuntu (18.04.2 LTS) on it. Everything else seems to work fine, but the WiFi connection and Bluetooth do not work.

I have tried to find a solution to the depths of the Internet without success to find a "workable solution".

The WiFi adapter seems to be Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000.

Signal strenght is good, but, the connection speed varies from 1 Mb / s => ...and the computer is not available properly in wireless mode.

I tried to drop connection speed temporary by following instructions: Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 1000 connection drops infinite times

echo "options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1" | sudo tee
sudo modprobe -rfv iwldvm
sudo modprobe -rfv iwlwifi
sudo modprobe -v iwlwifi

and then my connection speed is better (54 Mb/s), but is there any more permanent advice available to help out from my solution (WiFi)? I wouldn't want to run those commands once while using the machine :)

How about Bluetooth...has anyone accidentally encountered a similar problem on that laptop?
