I keep getting this subtle but persistent flickering issue and it is driving me insane. I have read several threads and I've tried the methods but it doesn't help. So here's what I've done so far without any success.

  1. I've changed my refresh rate below 60, I've done 59 and I've the lowest 40 but doesn't help.
  2. I've added the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d with which still didn't work

    Section "Device"
    Identifier "Intel Graphics"
    Driver "intel"
    Option "TearFree" "true"
