Some background (some of these details are not needed I suspect):

I have an ext4 partition that is part of a raid array. At some point recently, somehow one of the stripes got corrupted, and the FS showed up as empty. I figured out which stripe it was, and removed it. The FS still shows up as empty, but testdisk showed the full disk structure.

I (stupidly) thought fsck would be safe to use, but it clobbered all the files, and set it to 1% used, with a few files in lost+found. testdisk can no longer see the original directory structure.

Is there any way I can somehow get at the lost files? photorec gets all the jpgs fine, but there were some very large mp4 files which it doesn't seem to pick up.

Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
