Context: New linux user, just installed, but cannot get to learning command line because cursor is ridiculously laggy and driving me insane. Decided that it must be graphics driver issue. GTX 1050TI is the card. I am following steps from this website to install a newer driver; currently running on nvidia-390: http://www.linuxandubuntu.com/home/how-to-install-latest-nvidia-drivers-in-linux.

Main issue: after running "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers" and after pressing enter I get this:

Executing: /tmp/apt-key-gpghome.L33iyM3LaC/gpg.1.sh --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 2388FF3BE10A76F638F80723FCAE110B1118213C gpg: keyserver receive failed: Connection timed out

I've been at this for a few hours this Saturday trying to resolve this. Please help, thanks.
