I recently installed Ubuntu 18.10, and I also have Windows 10. The scenario is:

  • something else >
  • new partition table>
  • swap size(8000MB,(Primary,Begging))
  • / EXT4 journeying size(10000MB,(logical.Begging))
  • /home EXT4 journeying size(i didn't change this about 4567879MB,(logical,end))

I choose / to be the root

When I run sudo fdisk -l the terminal displays:

New partition table wiped all partitions including containing Windows.

So there is no Windows on your computer any more.

  • Backup can surely fix it, depending on what kind of backup you have. Restore the backup. How to restore Windows from a backup is off-topic at this site.
