Here are the errors that I'm seeing...

  • Any similar errors from apt / apt-get / synaptic / aptitude? "Cannot resolve hostname" is popping up, any DNS problems, finding/pinging extensions.gnome.org & cdn.fwupd.org works ok? – Xen2050 Jan 27 '19 at 2:20

Try running sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade. Here we go

  • Perhaps you ran it as sudo apt-get update, which is a tiny bit different and wouldn't solve your problem :) – mxox Jan 27 '19 at 2:58
