I'm using a chroot to effectively containerise my development environment. Before switching to the chroot I'm mounting /sys, /dev and /proc. I'm concerned that if I perform a apt-get update then I might inadvertently do something like change the kernel (or something else) of the 'host' machine - is this a legitimate worry?
