I'm currently trying to dual boot my MacBook Pro 2018 edition, but I seem to run into difficulties when I create partition space for the Ubuntu installer to detect. When I load up the Ubuntu installer after creating the partitioned, nothing is there but my USB drive that I use with the Ubuntu installer.

when I run the sudo gdisk /dev/sda it tells me that there's GPT: Damage.
