Linux version 4.15.0-29-generic (buildd@lgw01-amd64-057) (gcc version 7.3.0 (Ubuntu 7.3.0-16ubuntu3)) #31-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jul 17 15:39:52 UTC 2018

Now I have a problem. Every time I connected my laptop to the monitor, and used HDMI to get the audio output through the speaker of this second, it was needed to change the output to laptop speaker before disconnecting. Otherwise, despite the audio configuration panel shows laptop speaker as the only option available (and in fact that's the one I have chosen), I can't play anything, apart from the speakers tryout from that audio-configuration panel. That's everything that sounds from my PC. What I need to do is reconnect my computer to the monitor again, and then to change my preferred output to laptop again. And that is a huge problem now, since I won't be at home for at least a month, and I need my computer reproducing audio.
