I am having a lenovo ideapad ryzen 5 laptop. I have instaled ubuntu 18.10 in it. I have encountered a problem with touchpad and wifi. Wifi problem is resolved with some research and work. But touchpad is not making any improvements. I have tried many ways as told in forums of all sort of types. But at last the answer which gave me hope is Lenovo IdeaPad 330 touchpad not working . But the problem is when i run the command git clone

`git://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel-test/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/mainline-crack v4.20`

it runs saying remote: counting objects and goes on like lakhs of files without downloading anything. Can anyone explain what it is doing? And what should i do for touchpad to work.
