I finally took the plunge and dualbooted ubuntu, now I'm having a problem with my screen. I have a GTX 1060 3G, with 2 monitors hooked up to it. The main one is a 1080p 24" panel that's working just fine, second one is a 1600x900 20" panel, and I've been able to set it up perfectly at first, but noticed that the resolution gets messed up when the PC is unlocked after going to sleep. The monitor says it's receiving 1440x900 (my eyes too) but Ubuntu states "1600x900" on the settings. Does this have to do with how crappy Nvidia's drivers are in Linux? Thanks
