I've got a remote server running Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS, and I wanted to install TightVNC on it to be able to use GUI from my Windows machine to control it. So I've installed TightVNC and launched it with this command

 vncserver :1 -geometry 1250x650 -dpi 96

It launches and I can connect to it. But what I see there is this: Desktop screenshot

Here's the contents of xstartup file

Terminal screenshot

What environment is it? And is it possible to see normal gnome or unity environment?

I used to do it a few years ago, but unfortunately, I can't remember what I did back then

p.s. If I uncomment those 2 lines in xstartup, I see this uncommented

upon VNC relaunch.
