Hi I'm wondering if this is normal default behaviour on my ubuntu machine.

When I do nmap quick scan, I get my host machine, my router, and also something running at 192.168.0.254

this is the output from nmap:

PORT STATE SERVICE

139/tcp open netbios-ssn

445/tcp open microsoft-ds

this looks suspicious: 139/tcp open netbios-ssn Samba smbd 3.X - 4.X (workgroup: HITRON) why is there a workgroup created?

arp -a shows this output:

(192.168.0.254) at 00:55:7b:b5:7d:f7 [ether]

Should these ports be open for default? I have not installed samba.
