I'd like to access my Asus Zenfone 2 via CLI when I connect it to my old hp laptop via USB cable.

Lubuntu typically opens up the GUI window manager (Nautilus?) and the location bar states something like mtp://[usb:001,006]/Internal storage, which is perfectly fine, but I'd like to do the same via CLI. I've created a mounting point in /media/MTPdevice which remains an empty folder even when the phone is connected.

How do I tell the system to link /media/MTPdevice to /var/run/user/$UID/gvfs/mtp:host=[blah blah blah]...?

Do I add a line in the /etc/fstab file similar to the one below?

LABEL=/var/run/user/$UID/gvfs/mtp* /media/MTPdevice/            ext4    defaults              1       2

Which command will correctly mount the phone on /media/MTPdevice and show me the Internal storage?
