While I can run nano from command line quite normally, and set it as the default text editor using:
sudo update-alternatives --config editor
I cannot seem to set it as the default GUI launched text editor as it does not appear on the available programs list. I can launch Vim from the GUI, why not Nano? Is there a limitation to launching command based programs from the GUI or am I missing something?
