I have done a fresh installation on Ubuntu 18.04 on one of our servers. The server has 15 disks each of 10 TB with Hardware RAID which has been configured in RAID 6. However, on checking df -h, the total available space is for /home partition is 116 TB, used space is only 24KB but available space is only 110TB. Still trying to understand where/why the 6TB vanished.

The output of the

df -lhaT
command is as follows -

5% of the filesystem is reserved for the system (root) and is not available for users. – Soren A Oct 5 '18 at 11:32
