If proxy is my proxy address, then

http_proxy="http://proxy:8080/"

https_proxy="http://proxy:8080/"

ftp_proxy="http://proxy:8080/"

HTTP_PROXY="http://proxy:8080/"

HTTPS_PROXY="http://proxy:8080/"

FTP_PROXY="http://*proxy*8080/"

Are these lines enough to keep in /etc/environment?

If it needs authentication, is there any need to update the above as

http_proxy="http://Username:password@proxy:8080/"

https_proxy="http://Username:password@proxy:8080/"

ftp_proxy="http://Username:password@proxy:8080/"

HTTP_PROXY="http://Username:password@proxy:8080/"

HTTPS_PROXY="http://Username:password@proxy:8080/"

FTP_PROXY="http://Username:password@proxy:8080/"

Which one is correct and where can I get complete reference regarding this?
