Since I upgraded Ubuntu 16.04 to Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS on my Dell XPS 9560 I faced many issues like not recognized the NVIDIA GPU and dead touchpad.

Right now the issue is that even with a minimum workload and CPU usage(and Nvidia GPU disabled)

Also, I believe that the output of sensors is not accurate as it reports temperatures of 67.0°C for the CPU right now, but physically the left side of the keyboard is extremely hot.

I tried undervolting the CPU and Intel HD GPU as people suggested in other posts , but still the problem remains. sudo undervolt --gpu -100 --core -115 --cache -115
