just upgraded to 18.04 and installed alongside win10, I followed a guide to do so. I must admit when it said where to mount the partition used for storage I was dubious, but did it anyway.

It said to mount it /home/storage. It appears when I use lsblk, but I can't figure out how to mount it.

Here is my lsblk output, the drive in question is sda.

  • sda is the entire hard drive. sda3 is already mounted at /home/storage

  • I thought so, however I can't access it. Aug 24, 2018 at 19:24

  • I'm not sure what else is needed, what would you suggest? Aug 24, 2018 at 22:24
  • Why do you say you don't have access? What file system on the partition?
