I have setup dual boot on the Yoga 920, and gotten almost everything working perfectly, but every time I boot into Ubuntu, when the splash screen appears, there is a very audible pop/snap in the speakers. I haven't noticed it at any other time (when playing sounds, etc), but I am worried about it damaging the speakers. Any idea how to get rid of this "startup pop"?

(Note: This is not just the normal startup Ubuntu "startup drum" sound. It's possible it may be trying to play that sound, but what's actually happening is just a distinct speaker pop - I will give that fix a try and see if it removes the pop, but I would think there should be a way to fix this without turning off the login sound)
