As title - my time is 42 minutes off. Strangely, when querying the ntp server (which verified has the correct time) with 'ntpdate -q' it gives the wrong time, out by 42 minutes. When doing 'ntpdate' or 'ntpdate -u' or even 'ntpdate -qu' it gives the correct time.... it even updates to the correct time when invoking the 'date' command, but only for half a second, before reverting back to the same time out by 42 minutes which is the same as can be viewed by ''ntpdate -q'. Have tried stopping ntp service before using ntpdate repeatedly with and without '-u' switch, as well as turning ntp on/off in datetimectl, do not have timesyncd under systemd.... nothing works so far... help!
