I have a 1.5 TB external hard drive fully allocated as an NTFS partition with some data in it. What I would like to do is create a 300 GB boot partition and install Ubuntu or some other distro on it so that I can access it from any PC. How should I proceed? PS- the current data on my hdd is kinda important.
