I am using Kubuntu 16.04.

Up until today, my wired internet connection worked fine. My wireless internet connection still does. After performing the following updates:

my wired internet connection would fail on the "configuring IP interface" step. Here is the output of ifconfig-a:

Note there is no IP mentioned in the ethernet's entry. Here is the output of nmcli dev.

As I tried to fix this, I did a stupid thing: I deleted Wired Connection 1 from my Connection Editor (translation from French). I added a new wired connection in Network Manager, which is called New Connection 802-3-ethernet. It has the same problem: no IP configuration available.

Attempted Solution: I tried dhclient enp3sf01, but the same error persists. Also tried restarting the networking service.

Question: How to I fix the IP configuration failing?
