I can't connect to my wireless internet.

The error message says that I have not plugged a Wi-Fi adapter:

Also, only the language, battery and sound icons appear on the top right - network connectivity icon is missing:

Please tell us the brand name and model of your Wi-Fi adapter (and if possible also of the chip inside it). Knowing those details will help us help you. – sudodus Jul 28 '18 at 18:18

Please edit your question and add the output of the following command in Terminal: lspci -knn | grep Net -A3; rfkill list. – pomsky Jul 28 '18 at 18:58
  • Tp- link I don't know much more about the adapter – XDcrafter Bg Jul 29 '18 at 5:14
  • Because I'm using my phone I'll just. Add it into the question – XDcrafter Bg Jul 29 '18 at 11:47
  • You just entered lspci -knn and not the complete command pomsky suggested. However, apparently you have a Broadcom BCM43142 adapter. – PerlDuck Jul 29 '18 at 11:57
