I've seen many people have a custom Ubuntu dock "Show Applications" icon on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS.

I was able to move that to the top but would like to change the icon. How would I go about doing this? I was going to create my own icon that has the Ubuntu logo and use that but have no idea what size to use etc.

  • you can install several icons themes from different websites, i use gnome-look.org. if you go through the guidelines in it how to install.. you will get the clue how to use your own image by manipulating the files with in the icon themes. – PRATAP Jun 24 '18 at 20:53
  • Although I've voted to close this as a duplicate, I'm curious if you have an icon you want to use in place of the "nine dots" icon? – WinEunuuchs2Unix Jun 24 '18 at 22:31
