My daughter plans to enroll in medical school and wants to specialize in Proctology. A hemorrhoid simulator would help a great deal in her studies, but I can't find anything to fulfill this need in the Ubuntu Software Center. It's a pity, because I convinced her to start using Ubuntu, but she may need to return to her Windows simulators. The simulator doesn't necessarily need to be hemorrhoid specific, but it should be capable of demonstrating golf ball sized external hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, anal fissures, and fecal incontinence. Those are mandatory.

Is such software available for Ubuntu?

"It's a pity, because I convinced her to start using Ubuntu, but she may need to return to her Windows simulators. " Is that software not provided by hospitals? Or by that medical school? I doubt those are freely available to any of us (I can not find similar software for Windows to download either ;) ) In those cases Linux fails to provide similar software: Virtual Box => Windows => Software. – Rinzwind Jun 23 '18 at 11:41

You/She could also give wine a try: How can I install Windows software or games? – dessert Jun 23 '18 at 11:48

The answer to your question is: No, there is not such a simulation software (publicly) available for Ubuntu that fits your criteria.
