I am running an owncloud (10.0.8) installation on Ubuntu 16.04 (latest patchlevel). The owncloud-server is reachable under default port 443 https://mydomain.com/owncloud. Till today with a selfsigned certificate.

Today I used the letsencrypt certbot

sudo certbot --apache -d example.com"

The procedure ended successful. During the wizard I selected "https only". But now I get the following error message when I call the url above.

"Not Found The requested URL /owncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloudowncloud/index.php/login was not found on this server. Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server at mydomain.com Port 443"

In my opinion is there something wrong with the apache redirections. But I'm not really familiar with the apache-conf.

Have anybody an Idea what is wrong?

  • your apache config and the output of the apache log files especially the error log file for this domain could help here, why don't you include them here? – s1mmel Jun 8 '18 at 5:55
