This question already has an answer here:
I upgraded to 18.04 (actually it said partial upgrade) and now have no sound, I tried to install pulseaudio as it seems to be missing but I ge the message below.
dave@Dave-PC:~$ sudo apt install pulseaudio [sudo] password for dave: Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies. pulseaudio : Depends: libpulse0 (= 1:10.0-2ubuntu3.1) but 1:11.1-1ubuntu7 is to be installed E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. dave@Dave-PC:~$
How do I fix this?
