I followed the link on this site all the way through (I hope) and I still am unable to access the drive.

shr raid drives with crashed nas OS (synology)

followed this thread through, with no luck. When following along on the terminal line, I get the following error:

Error mounting /dev/dm-0 at /media/mike/2016.11.23-22:43:52 v8451: Command-line `mount -t "btrfs" -o "uhelper=udisks2,nodev,nosuid" "/dev/dm-0" "/media/mike/2016.11.23-22:43:52 v8451"' exited with non-zero exit status 32: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/mapper/vg1000-lv, missing codepage or helper program, or other error

I can see the two drives as well as the RAID-1 volume array in the disk utility. When attempting to mount /dev/vg/1000/lv I get the same error.

Any ideas? Much like anyone else, nothing but 2TB of photos and music
