I'm currently running ubuntu 17.10.
I have a D-Link dongle for my wireless. It sees the networks but can't connect.
I've tried:
- Going to resolv.conf and adding nameserver 8.8.8.8
- Going to networkmanager.conf and adding "[device] wifi.scan-rand-mac-address=no"
- Changing IPv4 dns to 8.8.8.8 in wifi settings.
- Using "sudo dpkg-reconfigure resolvconf"
The last one worked once. I was able to connect and browse. However after rebooting I had the same problem and using this command (sudo dpkg-reconfigure resolvconf) doesn't fix anything.
I've had this problem many times, any suggestions on how to stop it once and for all?
Thanks
