I am trying to install Robocup simulator from Here . As mentioned in the README file in the folder to build it I have to execute /.configure but I get this error.It's config.log file

This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

If you want to keep g++-5 as the default, since you already have alternatives configured, add g++-5 as an alternative:

sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/gcc gcc /usr/bin/gcc-5 80 --slave /usr/bin/g++ g++ /usr/bin/g++-5

This should switch back gcc and g++ back to GCC5.

  • Yeah! it's working fine now. Anyway, I have removed gcc*4.8 and kept only gcc-5. Everything works fine now! Thanks!
