I cannot mount cdrom drive on xubuntu 14.04. Here is my /etc/fstab : Any suggestions ? (if you could also provide me a brief explanation, so that i can deal with it alone the next time.)
# /etc/fstab: static file system information.

# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).

# cdrom 1

/etc/fstab
re the cdrom and then reboot and try just inserting a cd and see if it auto mounts.
