I've been trying, unsuccessfully, to find documentation/examples on how to customize various things using the fastpath installer.

This document gives a high-level overview.

A more practical example for modifying the network config.

I'm looking to customize the partition layout (the default has no swap and 100% to the root partition).

Anyone?

I was recently facing the same question and, aside from the URL quoted above did not find much more.

With Maas and Curtin's developer's help, I was able to come up with a working scenario that I described in this blog post.

I hope that it can help you out an others facing the same question.

If it's OK for you via commandline, I do it like this:
