Nearly every time I open Firefox it asks to be the default browser. As far as I can see Firefox is the only browser installed.

  • You may have corrupted the profile (for Firefox). This is a known issue, but seldom occurs.

Reset to default

You can check the alert box once then it wont ask again.

Got to Tools --> Preferences --> Advanced --> System Defaults

And make sure that the "Always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on start-up", is Unchecked. And if you want Firefox to be the default, just click on "Make Firefox the default browser"
