cpu:amd 4600u

This is an old question for a newly released CPU. If there is no answer, I will still be happy to post it here, and maybe provide some useful information.

Yes, there are not many laptops equipped with this CPU. I tried to delete Windows and installed Linux. At the beginning, I installed Ubuntu 19.10. After booting into the desktop, the screen went black for a long time. After updating to Ubuntu 20.04, I entered the desktop in seconds. The speed is fast, and the display effect is also very good. All Fn function keys can be used and are somewhat effective, except for brightness adjustment. I was surprised that the experience was almost the same as under Windows. I almost accepted that little flaw, but after working for a while, I found that I still couldn't bear the dazzling screen.

I Googled this kind of problem and found that the problem of not being able to adjust the brightness has been around for many years, but I couldn't find a solution. Is it a problem with the AMD graphics driver?

Ubuntu is doing very well, but is there any enthusiast who can icing on the cake?

Press the shortcut key to have a brightness adjustment bar, you can adjust the value, but the screen brightness does not change, the value in the brightness file will also change with the adjustment, but the brightness is still the largest.
