Well, thanks to the both of you who took a minute for responding. Since the GUID cannot be recognized by Win it seems like the logical partition set up as lvm really busted it. There is no way to get anything restored, even with the most sensitive boot loader. My opinion is that it could be worth to mention what lvm might do to other OS's. However - at least I got chicken!
