I'm a self-taught coder. Though the PhD I'm fighting my way through is supposed to be on the evolution of osmotic regulation and adaptation among yeast, I make it so I spend most my time coding python and hacking around in linux. On the side I spend a lot of time on coding projects as well.

Though an odd solution to post here, that actually worked. Upgrading the firmware in windows (I don't know if it will work under wine) and now that mouse works. If you put it as answer, I'll accept it.
