@user164960 Under most circumstances, a terminal will begin in $HOME. The chance that the shell would start out in a different directory is so low as to be negligible and may be disregarded.

comment What's the difference between Google Chrome and/or Chromium? What are the advantages/disadvantages to each?
Chromium may lack the built-in Flash/PDF, but since they run off NPAPI, if you extract them from Chrome, Chromium will happily use them after a bit of configuring. (On Windows, this doesn't matter a whole lot, but while Flash is stopping their Linux builds at 11.2, Google managed to convince Adobe to package updated versions with Chrome.) Anway, it's not a huge point, but I thought it worth noting since none of the answers mentioned it.

Just found out our connection is 6 Mbit. This makes the wireless adapters seem even wore pathetic.
