comment Porting Ubuntu touch onto Asus Transformer T100TA
Ubuntu with most of the hardware support boots on the Asus Transformer. Is it possible to install Ubuntu on the Asus Transformer? has answer about both alternatives: native Ubuntu desktop and Android is problematic. However, you said in your question that you didn't want to install the native Ubuntu desktop on your Asus Transformer. You asked for Ubuntu Touch. Yes of course, the Transformer runs Windows 8, so the normal way to do it is to install native Ubuntu, but that's not what you asked for.

comment installed fglrx drivers and now I'm having problems
It is better to query the terminal about the recommended proprietary graphics driver for your hardware and Ubuntu operating system version than to rely on a possibly outdated tutorial from the web. If you are installing a graphics driver from either the official NVIDIA website or the official AMD website, both websites have web forms that tell you the correct driver to download for your GPU and operating system.

Did you check to see if the driver was the correct driver for your system before you installed it? Unfortunately the command to identify the correct driver will return false results if a proprietary driver is already installed, so you have to uninstall it first, reboot, and from the terminal run: ubuntu-drivers devices.

comment Customized page cannot print in ubuntu 12.04
For some unknown reason the Linux printer drivers from the official Samsung website sometimes do not install in the usual way, and furthermore the driver archives do not always include the installation instructions in the archive. However if there is an install.sh file in the Samsung ML-2162 driver archive, you could try running that file as root.

comment Acer Laptop Hangs at Ubuntu Installation
I have encountered the same problem with a SSD, and I found the solution to it by searching in the forum of the motherboard's manufacturer where I was advised to makes some changes in the BIOS settings and this immediately solved the problem. I'm fairly certain that this was an issue with the motherboard not the SSD, because it was an Intel SSD and Intel SSDs are well supported in Ubuntu, even including TRIM being enabled by default for Intel SSDs in Ubuntu 14.04 and onward.
