Too bad I didn't find that page before buying Scarlet 2i4. It does work fine. But I would like to check the rest of my options first. Ty m8.

comment How to move an EXE file to Wine's fake C: drive
You don't have to move the .exe file in Wine's C:\ directory in order to run it. You can right click on the executable and choose open with wine. You can also set the default program that open's .exe files to be wine so with double clicking on them the work can be done. You do that by right clicking on a .exe file select properties and in open with tab you select wine and set it as default

I Already read that post. A friend of mine has an M-Audio Fast Track Pro tho, and he's a sound engineer, he said that it does work for listening, but he didn't make it to record with it. He's not a linux expert of course but neither am I. That's why I asked here in case people bought sound cards and have them working as they should work.

Thank you for your answer. What I'm looking for is more like this: thomann.de/gr/media_bdbviewer_AR_270928.html?image=0 Not minimal sound card. Good quality fair price and with capabilities that musicians need. I would buy the one I listed here, but first I have to know if linux can support it, that's my problem. I've found some nice sound cards, but it says everywhere:Windows vista/7 or higher and Mac. Companies don't love linux like we do :(

I did try purge/re-install. As I said I tried all I know with apt-get. I will now try the second option you listed in your edit.

But my system knows what packages are installed into it. Can I at least run some commands to reconfigure all of them? My problem is that some configuration files that I deleted manually don't get created again. I tried all apt-get commands, purge, autoclean install(again) but they just refuse to be recreated. Is there a solution to that? (pretty annoying) P.S dpkg-reconfigure postgresql, postgresql is the annoying package, didn't do it.

As simple as that... It worked! Add that to your answer if you want. I'll mark it as accepted anyway.

Thanks for trying to help... I bet the comments above don't show much gratitude. Sorry if that's how it seemed.

Yes, I did. I also messed with a lot of stuff. I think I removed everything relevant to it. But still I can't install it again. I get an error when trying to re-install.
