Found it at wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/GitKernelBuild

That git repository is kept to 3.2.0 specifically; it follows what's in Ubuntu Precise (12.04). If you want a different version change ubuntu-precise.git to ubuntu-quantal.git or whatever. It should be fine to just copy into usr/src.

A graphical way to turn apport on and off is gksudo xdiagnose; i'ts the third checkbox "Enable automatic crash bug reporting".

works fine for me. The third line will prompt you for sudo password so make sure to enter that.

@Zuul, also that command stops X only if using xdm, which is not the default display manager. The right command would be sudo service lightdm stop.

@Zuul, the script will certainly run inside an X session (I just did). Whether it clears the cache or not I didn't check.

Right, removing ubuntu-desktop is insufficient. The other list of packages would probably work better.

-1 That may remove too much. I tested running it and it wanted to also get rid of apache, emacs, and other stuff you probably want on a server.

No, the OP is asking how to set up two cards not two monitors. The above advice is correct but not answering the right question.
