Ubuntu install after Vista Removal
The first try at install I used the windows installer and installed Ubuntu on a completely different drive than where XP is installed. Actually, the files are there and I can see them. Then I tried usng the ISO method. During that install Ubuntu said it detected Vista and asked if I wanted to install them side by side. I said yes since it was installed on the same drive as Vista in the first place. As far as GRUB, I am not sure I thought that it was installed with the software. Thanks for the help, this is my first go at Ubuntu and I appreciate all of the help I can get.
