gdebi ? Why don't you use the standard dpkg -i to install a debian package?

According to this similar error, your SDK is probably out of date.

comment How do I access Ubuntu?
I noticed that you don't have a standard EFI partition. My suggestion to you at this point is to delete the two partitions you have created for Ubuntu, boot from the USB stick, and do another fresh install, following this guide: tecmint.com/ubuntu-15-04-installation-on-uefi-firmware (except 1-you aren't going to create a partition table and 2-you don't need a separate partition for your /home - unless you want to encrypt your home folder) At the end you should have three partitions: swap, EFI, and root.

@Mitch please read the comments carefully before deciding something is a conversation or not. I will re-post my comment here because it is a comment, not casual chat.

comment Trouble setting 4 Monitors with 2 ndivia GPUs
Well, xrandr is showing you only have two monitors connected at HDMI-0 and HDMI-1. Are you sure there aren't any connection problems? Try connecting a single monitor at DVI-I-0 and see if xrandr will list it.

comment Just installed Ubuntu but can't connect to any network whatsoever
Try running the following command sudo iptables -F; this flushes the ip tables. Also please edit your question and attach the output of dmesg several seconds after you turn your physical wireless switch off and back to on, as well as the output of these commands: lshw -c network, rfkill list, and iwconfig.

Looking a bit further into it, you might have confused AMD's beta/experimental drivers with their stable release. There is a clear distinction between the two. Beta drivers are bleeding edge and prone to bugs and instability, but mainline releases are not.

I agree that in the past, some people have experienced some issues with installing drivers. But I would not use that as circumstantial evidence that all of AMD's drivers are broken altogether. It's like looking up all the problems people have with their TV's and then conclude you should never buy a TV. Their Linux drivers have matured in the past few years, and now they even have a Ubuntu-specific driver which should work quite nicely with 14.04.

-1 Proprietary drivers provided by AMD for its latest hardware are not "bleeding edge, untested, newest, nor possibly buggy". AMD thouroughly tests their drivers before release.

Have you made sure that it's not muted? Try running alsamixer in the terminal and double check volume settings.
