comment How to change IP when /etc/network/interface file is missing?
12.04 also needs dns-nameservers 192.168.0.x as they changed how resolv.conf works.

comment 10.04 server won't boot off latest kernel
It should, but I've had it either not run or fail and ended up using older kernels without realizing it.

comment DNS issues with 12.04, apt-get, and openssh
12.04 generates resolv.conf using info in /etc/network/interfaces (hence the "DO NOT EDIT BY HAND" message). Have you added dns-nameservers 8.8.8.8 to your static entry?

comment How do I make an ISO from a disc?
isoinfo will only report on iso9660 images. It will ignore any other data (like the HFS section of a hybrid ISO/HFS CD). Those types are pretty rare now, but do pop up occasionally.

comment Server error (-5 - No address associated with hostname)
Not sure if it's just a copy error: dns-namservers should be dns-nameservers (you missed an e)
