3 desktops with towers.. 2 running Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit. 1 running Windows XP. All three laptops had Oracle Virtual Machines Running XP and W7.
The 3 Laptops were running Ubuntu 12.04 but all three not booting now..ready to go back to Windows as much as I hate it.. I use the laptops for work..and they have become worthless .. won't boot... 1 HP 17.3" laptop may have a hardware problem related to video but could also be the Ubuntu 12.04 Boot issue..it ran fine for 4 months until the upgrade to 12.04.. shortly after- black screen.. an HP dual core Intel.
The HP 17.3" Dual Core AMD is used primarily on desktop for work. It is the one that takes from .5 -25hours to boot if at all.
The HP dual core AMD 15+" laptop is carried to/from work and to clients - it is down but may not be Ubuntu issue.. could be motherboard issue.. having checked.
