When it comes to code, I consider myself a pretty enthusiastic hobbyist. I learned a little C++ and java in High School, followed by some tinkering with Ruby, Python, and VBA in college and beyond.

Presently I'm finally getting around to try and understand javascript, both on the client side and server side via nodejs.
